Born in San Francisco and raised in the Bay Area, Shemena Campbell now lives and works in Amsterdam, NL with her husband, two sons and two cats. After a career in medical research, she began painting in 2018. Her work is varied in style, but her primary artistic interests are power, people and memory, and how those subjects intertwine.
